What is the Garneau Nicon Family Foundation

The Garneau Nicon Family Foundation was establised in 2011 for the commitment of supporting charitable purposes in the Puget Sound Region of Western Washington.

 

The Garneau Nicon Family Foundation is dedicated to encouraging and supportling individuals and organizations seeking to improve themselves and enrich the communities they serve. Grants for religious, literary, scientific, educational, medical and artistic purposes, as well as other self-improvement efforts, will be considered.

How do I know if I qualify?

The Garneau Nicon Family Foundation accepts applications from any organization including but not limited to those with a 501c3 designation, and/or any individual seeking funding for post-graduate work.

 

How often are grants awarded?

Grants from the GNFF will be awarded on an annual basis. Grant applications are due between

February 1st - 28th.

 

How do I apply for a grant?

All applications are located on our website at www.GarneauNiconFF.org, under the application section. Fill out the appropriate application and provide all required documentation. Make sure all items are filled out, signed and included. Applications that are not, will be respectfully declined. Once completed, please upload the application and all supporting documents and email them to gnffapplications@outlook.com  by midnight March 31st. No late applications will be accepted.    

 

How much money can I ask for?

Grants are awarded in a range from $1,000 - $50,000.

 

How often can I apply?

Due to the large volume of applications, organizations/individuals that are awarded a grant, may not apply for a grant in consecutive grant cycles. If you apply and were awarded a grant in the previous year, your application will not be considered.

We often get requests and questions about GNFF and its funding priorities. Please know we are unable to give any insight as to how GNFF prioritizes its grants or the inner workings of the board of directors.
